Accommodation
Aveiro, despite being a small city, is a very popular tourist destination. It is possible to find a great diversity of accommodation, however we chose to pre-block a limited number of rooms in different price categories.
Accommodation can be booked, as well as payments, directly with the accommodation provider, not the Portuguese Chemical Society, and all queries and requests must be made direct to them.

Conference venue
The 12ENC will be hosted at the University of Aveiro, from 6th to 8th December 2022.
The conferences (6th and 8th December), poster sessions and company exhibitions will take place on the Auditório Renato Araújo, from the Rectorate Central Building (building 25 of the University Campus*).
The conferences (7th December) will take place on the Auditório Carlos Borrego, from the Department of Environment and Planning (building 7 of the University Campus*).
The Portuguese Railway Company-CP provides regular and fast train connections from and to Aveiro and other cities, including Oporto and Lisbon (connection with respective airports). For detailed information regarding train schedules and prices, please consult the website.
The city of Aveiro has an urban bus service that connects the train station and the University Campus. Check timetables here .
The University of Aveiro campus also has several free car parks. Depending on the daily campus activities, a limited number of parking places may be available. Rectorate Central Building (building 25 of the University Campus*) has a paid car parking.
